Ever since our conception in 1916 Dewig Meats has been providing quality meats and services. These attributes have led us to be successfull in both the market place and in being recognized through awards. These awards range from prizes on both the state and national level. One of our more recent honors was being the cover story of Meat Business Magazine. The article entitled "Dewig Meats: Strong on Tradition but open to change" emphasized our success and congratulated us for the service that we provide to our customers. Such an article is as much of an award to us as any ribbon or plaque.
Speaking of ribbons and plaques, we literally have hundreds of them. One of the largest sources of awards we recieve is from annual product competitions. Our products finish at the top on a regular basis, and our fine meat products do well in all taste competitions. We are proud of all or our accomplishments and hope that they will convince you of the true quality of our products.
We compete in major cured meat competitions three times a year. We compete at the American Association of Meat Processors, Indiana Meat Packers & Processors Association, and Hermann Wurstfest every year.
