Hamburger Steak and Gravy

- 2 pounds Dewig Meats regular ground beef
- ½ cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tablespoon ketchup
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
- 2 cups Coloma Frozen Foods Diced Onions
- 1 Tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon Kitchen Bouqet
- 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1¼ cups beef broth
- 2 Tablespoons beef broth paste
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Combine all the ingredients for the hamburger patties and mix thoroughly until combined.
- Divide into 8 hamburger patties.
- Add vegetable oil to a skillet and cook over medium heat until both sides are well browned.
- Remove the meat from the pan and reserve 2 Tablespoons oil in pan.
- Add the onions and cook until soft, stirring occasionally.
- Add the minced garlic, stirring constantly for 1 minute.
- Add in 2 Tablespoons flour and whisk constantly for 1 minute until blended.
- Add in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, Kitchen Bouquet, salt and pepper and stir together.
- Add hamburger steaks back into the pan.
- Cover and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally and adding beef broth as needed if gravy gets too thick.
