Hunting can be a very rewarding and a lot of fun. Processing a deer yourself? Not so much fun. That’s why we are delighted to do it for you. To be sure our end product is the same quality you have come to expect from Dewig Meats, we must begin with a good product as well.
Guidelines & Requirements
- Deer meat must be boneless, and can not be ground.
- We only accept clean, boneless deer meat (NO hair, dirt, leaves, etc.). Meat will be rejected if not clean.
- Boneless meat can be fresh or frozen, but it must be from this year’s hunting season.
- Deer meat must be in clear plastic food grade/safe bags, such as zip lock bags.
- We do not accept meat in grocery bags, trash bags, coolers, or containers.
- We must have your deer’s confirmation number.
- 15 lb. minimum – you can mix and match products to total 15 lbs.
